Young Reporters' gear up to go global

FEE’s Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), already operating in more than 25 countries, gets set for an inspirational new year by launching a new website, social media platforms and updated programme criteria for 2012.

The website www.youngreporters.org features an enhanced, user-friendly design with improved and updated content and better functionality to support YRE’s internal and external communications. 

Sarah Pickering, International YRE Coordinator, said: "We’re delighted to share this resource, in particular with participants and national operators of the YRE programme who are doing such wonderful work educating for sustainable development and positive change worldwide.”

She added: “We’re excited by the growth and potential of this programme globally and more importantly the inspiring investigate work carried out by enthusiastic participants from around the world, which will be showcased on the website.”

FEE’s main website and Blue Flag programme website also feature the design, with new Green Key, Eco-Schools and Learning about Forests (LEAF) websites to follow soon.
