Article The student has written a poem regarding the issue of deforestation in order to raise awareness about this global concern.
Awareness Raising through Poetry The inspiration for this poem was by my mother, for thanks to the positive pressure I receive from her about the environment I was able to write this. Her words are touching as I hope is this poem. When people damage the environment it is as bad as damaging our property, our house, our loved ones, as the environment doesn't belong to you or me, but to all of us. It is up to you to save the environment; to save ourselves. Deforestation is only one of the large problems we ourselves have created. Others like pollution, habitat destruction and vandalism are also creating a serious threat to our planet. So please I ask of you stop this for you; me and everything living.
