110 persons in our own age were asked six questions concerning GMO. Most of the people we asked had a negative attitude towards GMO, but there was also a lot of people who did not have any opinion. Almost everybody would consider buying GMO-products, though, if the products where cheaper or better in some way.Most of the people are afraid that the scientists do not care enough about the risks that probably exist. A great number of persons thought that they had not recieved enough information about all the aspects conserning GMO.

In Europe GMO plants authorized by the Ue (European Union) are five: maize, Soya, (used in the form of additives), colza, chicory and tobacco. Maize, Soya and colza appear and grow mostly in the USA where 74% of the global area is cultivated with transgenic organisms.

Moreover, we have made researches and interviewed consumers and farmers of our area.
